AI at Work

Don't fight AI. Learn to run it.

A calm, practical path for leaders and teams. Ask clearly. Check the answer. Protect the secrets.

AI at Work

Learn AI one safe step at a time.

Most teams do not need a big AI project. They need a calm way to start. EPX3 adds a short, practical AI track for leaders and their teams.

  1. 1

    Notice

Pick one task your team repeats every week.

  2. 2

    Try

Use AI to help with a first draft of that task.

  3. 3

    Check

A person reviews the work before it goes out. The person stays in charge.

The evidence

AI that helps, and AI that watches.

Helps vs watches

In a review of 43 studies, AI that reduces workload (assistive) was generally linked to lower burnout. AI used to monitor or control workers was linked to more strain. Most of the strongest evidence is from healthcare.

Fang et al., Frontiers in Psychology, 2026.

AI at Work

Don't fight AI. Learn to run it.

Many workers are afraid AI will take their job. Many bosses are afraid too. They worry about their people and about their company secrets. Those fears are fair. But hiding from AI will not make it go away. Learning to use it well is the better bet, and right now it is a good time to start.

A good athlete who sees a rival training with better equipment does not quit. They train. AI is the new equipment. EPX3 helps your people train for it, so they become the ones who direct the AI and check its work.

What the research says, in plain words

34%more done per hour

AI helped the newest workers most

Newer customer-support workers with an AI helper resolved 34% more issues per hour. Experienced workers gained little.

5,179 support agents. Brynjolfsson, Li and Raymond, National Bureau of Economic Research.
19points worse

Knowing when not to trust it

On tasks AI is good at, consultants worked about 25% faster with over 40% better quality. On a task outside its strengths, those using AI were 19 points less likely to get the right answer. Someone has to know the difference.

758 Boston Consulting Group consultants. Dell'Acqua and colleagues, 2023.
62%pay premium

AI skills are paying off

The average pay premium for AI skills reached 62%. At the companies most exposed to AI, headcount grew 52% from 2018 to 2025, versus 36% at the least exposed.

+78Mjobs by 2030

More jobs are forecast than lost

Employers worldwide expect 170 million new jobs and 92 million lost by 2030, a net gain of 78 million. About 40% of job skills will change, and 77% of employers plan to train their people.

World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs Report 2025. This is an employer forecast, not a guarantee.
The honest part

AI will cost some jobs, and the early signs fall on the youngest workers. In payroll data, workers aged 22 to 25 in the jobs most exposed to AI saw employment fall about 13% relative to workers in less exposed jobs, mainly where AI automates work rather than helps people do it. Workers with more experience were steady. And 41% of employers plan to cut staff because of AI.

That is the reason to learn early. People who can direct and check AI are on the other side of that line.

If you feel worried, you are not alone. 52% of US workers said they were worried about AI at work (Pew, 2024). 18% think their own job is likely to be eliminated within five years (Gallup, 2026). And half of US workers already use AI at work at least a few times a year.

Three skills that make you the person who runs the AI

1

Ask clearly

Say what you want, who it is for, and what it should look like. Better questions get better answers.

2

Check the answer

AI can sound sure when it is wrong. Check the facts, numbers and names before you use them. That checking is your edge.

3

Protect the secrets

Know what never goes into an AI tool: customer information, passwords, health details, and anything your company calls private.

For employers: three worries, three honest answers

"Will AI replace my people?"

We cannot promise anyone a job. We can teach people to direct and check AI, which is the part of the work that grows in value. Your best people become more useful, not less.

"Is our information safe?"

Our training does not need your company files. Every learner gets a one-page "never paste this" list, and you can add your own rules.

"What about AI mistakes?"

They happen today. That is exactly why people who check the work matter. We teach people to verify before they trust.

What EPX3 does about it

Every week of the 90-day program, each person logs one AI shortcut on a real task: the Weekly AI Win. Leaders get a session on using AI. Everyone who finishes the 90 days is offered the G.A.I.N.S. AI certification, so a healthier, steadier person also becomes a more capable one.

EPX3 cannot promise job security, raises or promotions. The studies above describe groups of people, show links rather than proof of cause, and cannot predict what will happen to any one worker. AI tools make mistakes today, so people must check their work. Every study is listed with its limits on The Research.
